The Role

We are looking for a Junior Warehouse Operative to join our team.


Responsibilities

  • Quality control - inspection of incoming engineering components
  • Managing consumable and consignment stock, including monitoring stock levels, ensuring accuracy, and overall stock control.
  • Picking engineering components as per customer orders
  • Packing and despatching customer orders
  • Shipping and dispatching goods to customers
  • Booking in parts from suppliers through our bespoke online system
  • Barcode scanning
  • Maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment at workstations and in storage areas


Essential/Desirable Skills

  • Must be IT proficient
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Be able to work well under pressure during busy periods ensuring all orders are picked accurately
  • Must be organised and reliable
  • Must have sufficient teamwork and communication skills
  • Experience preferred but not necessary, as training will be provided.

Working Days/Hours

4-On/4-Off Shift Pattern, 46 Hrs per rotation, 07:30 to 20:00, 60 minutes in breaks daily.


Salary

£24,212 per annum rising to £25,361 after 1 year of service.
